20 Best PSD to HTML Service Providers

Converting design files (PSD, PNG, AI etc) to high quality, cross-browser compatible valid top-notch XHTML/ CSS semantic markup manually has never been easy, as it takes lot of time and precision

…Hope these comments come up in Google and are helpful to others looking for a good supplier I unfortunately can’t recommend a good supplier, but perhaps one you should avoid. I worked with Codemyconcept they were very quick at pre-sales and offered a good price. However, despite offering complete satisfaction before payment, they requested payment mid-way as a matter of ‘good faith’. I paid extra as apparently IE6 compatibility isn’t included as standard despite the additional money, the site doesn’t work in IE6 (not even close to looking right). Since then I’ve sent numerous emails but received no reply. So, avoid http://www.codemyconcept.com at all costs…

Download Illustrator and Photoshop versions of the *new* standard feed icon

I took that pretty little 32×32 icon and rebuilt it in Illustrator - saved a bunch of different sizes in PSD and AI format and posted them as a package on my site. The response has been good so far and people seem pretty stoked that we might just have a decent replacement for those ugly, ambiguous RSS/XML buttons.

…Update June 16, 2006: Proposed guidelines have been published by Mozilla Foundation’s executive director, Frank Hecker. They include visual guidelines as well as basic terms of use.
Update December 22, 2005: Introducing FeedIcons.com the new home for our little orange friend!

On December 14, the Microsoft RSS Team made an announcement on their blog. This announcement is extremely important on many levels and I’m really surprised there hasn’t been more talk about it. And as such, I figured I would take this opportunity to jump all over that shit and try and get things moving! So what was so important, you ask?
I’m excited to announce that we’re adopting the icon used in Firefox. John and Chris were very enthusiastic about allowing us (and anyone in the community) to use their icon. This isn’t the first time that we’ve worked with the Mozilla team to exchange ideas and encourage consistency between browsers, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.
I was pretty excited myself, when I read the post. Partly because…

A $200 back-to-school giveaway for needy kids sparked a mad rush for money on the streets of New York on Tuesday. “It’s free money!” said Alecia Rumph, 26, who waited in a Morris Park, Bronx, line 300 people deep for the cash to buy uniforms and book bags for her two kids.

…A $200 back-to-school giveaway for needy kids sparked a mad rush for money on the streets of New York on Tuesday.
“It’s free money!” said Alecia Rumph, 26, who waited in a Morris Park, Bronx, line 300 people deep for the cash to buy uniforms and book bags for her two kids.
“Thank God for Obama. He’s looking out for us.”
Thousands of people lined up at banks and check-cashing shops to withdraw the cash that magically appeared on their electronic benefit cards.
Some rushed out because of rumors the money would vanish by the end of the day.
“Rumors, there’s always rumors,” said Teresa Medina, who waited four hours at a Pay-O-Matic in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, to get $600 for her three teenagers - just in case they were true.
The no-strings-attached money went to families receiving food stamps or welfare.
Every child between 3 and 17 was eligible for $200, which worked out to 813,845 kids across the state - including 498,866 in the city.
“Times are really tough right now. The situation is bad with money. So it’s…
