Artificial intelligence ftw! (Half-Life 2)

Me playing Half-Life 2. The enemies don’t spot you if you hold an object in front of you. This even works with a small paper box.

GT5 SuperGT AI Replay Autobacs ARTA Garaiya with sound

Replay from Gran Turismo 5 CES 2010 demo, of the ASL Autobacs ARTA Garaiya GT300 2008 (Super GT) racing by Artificial Intelligence on Tokyo Route 246.Note that AI cars had no incar views at all during replays. Incar view was only available for player’s car and there were only two camera angles. Video recorded from 1080i Bravia screen, in 1280×720p@60fps with a Panasonic TZ7. This demo isn’t related to “GT5 Demo Collection”. It doesn’t differ from 2010 Las Vegas CES demo. I have no clue on what “GT5 Demo Collection” actually is. Graphics dont seems to have improved since Cologne and there are still minor bugs. I think we can expect some improvements for final release.

Pedro Domingos - Unifying Logical and Statistical AI

Unifying Logical and Statistical AI Intelligent agents must be able to handle the complexity and uncertainty of the real world. Logical AI has focused mainly on the former, and statistical AI on the latter. Markov logic combines the two by attaching weights to first-order formulas and viewing them as templates for features of Markov networks. Inference algorithms for Markov logic draw on ideas from belief propagation, Markov chain Monte Carlo, resolution, and satisfiability. Learning algorithms are based on inductive logic programming and convex optimization. Markov logic has been successfully applied to problems in information extraction, natural language processing, social network analysis, robot mapping, bioinformatics and others, and is the basis of the open-source Alchemy system. Joint work with Jesse Davis, Stanley Kok, Daniel Lowd, Aniruddh Nath, Hoifung Poon, Matt Richardson, Parag Singla, Marc Sumner, and Jue Wang.

GT5 SuperGT AI Multi angle view Replay Lexus Weds Sport IS350 with sound

GT5 CES 2010 replay of the Lexus Weds Sport IS350 GT300 2008 (Super GT) from several points of view. The car is driven by Artificial Intelligence on Tokyo Route 246.Note that AI cars had no incar views at all during replays. Incar view was only available for player’s car and there were only two camera angles. Unlike GC demo from Cologne, chasing cam view doesn’t rotate. Some views seems to be missing too. Check my GT5 Replay Tokyo R246 HKS CT230R vid to see what I’m talking about. I think Polyphony put some cool features on a demo then remove and replace it by other cool features. They don’t want to show all at once. GT5 reserve some sweet surprises… Video recorded from 1080i Bravia screen, in 1280×720p@60fps with a Panasonic TZ7. Artificial Intelligence Project: Capture the Flag

This is an intermediate step of a project I’m working on for fun. The goal is to make an “evolutionary capture the flag program in which a genetic algorithm is used to evolve the various players to an optimal strategy. The red guys are attackers - they go for the flag The Yellow guys are defenders - they tackle the attackers and throw’em in jail The Blue guys are Rescuers. When there is no one to rescue, they defend The teams are separated into white stripes and no white stripes. This stage of the programming is pure (crappy) AI - I’m coding the genetic algorithm part now. Song by Jesus and the Pegasaur is called Nirmal.

GT5 Replay AI High End Performance G37 on Ring

Replay from Gran Turismo 5 CES 2010 demo of the 2008 High End Performance G37 (SEMA Show 2008, Gran Turismo “Best in Show” award winner), driven by Artificial Intelligence on the famous Nordschleife. Have you noticed that GT-R Vspec (Super Car class) racing among tuned cars ?Note that AI cars had no incar views at all during replays. Incar view was only available for player’s car and there were only two camera angles. Video recorded from 1080p Bravia screen (KDL-40X2000), in 1280×720p@50fps with a Panasonic TZ7. No custom soundtrack in this demo. Background noise recorded by the camera was quite annoying, so I switched to an other track using Youtube’s audioswap function. You still can turn off sound.
